Dora Campbell thrrd by Mrs Helen Burgner and fourth by Mlss Catherrne Hagel Dunng our frfth year the class was d1v1ded mto two sectrons, one taught by Mrs Lena Florey, the other by Mlss Hagel Mrs Florey was aga1n our teacher rn the slxth grade When we became Junror I-hgh we thought we had really arnved Now we were out of the hamburger group and 1nto the coke crowd We began to demand autograph hounds, the color of our lrpstrck and nall polxst was far more rmportant than the color we should choose for the maps we were drawlng Our weekly date held more of our 1nterest than the date Columbus Elvrs Presley and the boys droolrng over Marrlyn Monroe To be rn charge of affarrs of the class we elected Davrd McKelvey who was assrsted by Tom Houk, and and pop com at ball games Throughout hrgh school one of our b1g money makrng affalrs was the annual St Patrrcks Day drnner and dance The Junror play, Take Your Med1c1ne,' was drrected by our sponsers, Mrs Carol Myer and Mr Kenneth Drckerson Davld McKelvey actmg as the patxent and Tom Houk as the grouchy banker made thls show a howllng success We accompanled the semors on a tr1p to the Natronal Homes and Alum1num Plant rn Lafayette, the trrp berng sponsored by Mr Lou1s Smrth and hrs chemrstry class Come sprmg we entertarned the fourteen members of the senior class ln the Wolford Hotel, Danvzlle Hawa11 was the theme, and the drnner partrcrpated ln basketball Lmn Qurgle has been a member of the varsity team throughout hrgh school Lors Rlce has been one of the yell leaders for the four years Elght of our members have had a place IH the school band, most of them for the past seven years Seven of our gxrls have been members of the chonrs for f1V6 years Thrs class has always been a mans emprre The boys have always far out
