Class Prophecy Not every senior class is as lucky as we are. When we began looking for ways to prophesy correctly the futures of our classmates, a strange e ent took place just in time to help us. Raymond Warden was driving home from a ball game when a rare vehicle drew across the road and stopped him. A tiny little man, making beep, beep noises, approached him, injected a prophesing fluid into his arm. As this seemed to be his only purpose, he extended into his shiny space ship and departed. When Raymond discovered the extraordinary trait, which he now possessed, he hurried to us, because he knew we could use his assistance. He said we would all be surprised at Bill Larson, who has entered into politics and is now the Governor of the State of Washington. Tudy Wellner is singing with the current rage of the juke box, The Tones , and she promised that she would bring them to our class reunion. Clyde Wilson has just signed a new contract to build the new houses in Richland's million dollar subdivision. Connie helps him faithfully as she cares for their rapidly growing family (last count, 6). Larry Toe Sanders has taken the Lone Ranger's place; and David Boren, when not testing bubble gum, acts as Tonto . As you have probably guessed, David Boren's full time job is testing bubble gum. Martha Bailey and Margaret Ogle operate a beauty school and modeling agency. Billie Kay Roam manufactures Lady's Comfy Sleep Wares. The reason for her great success is that she has invented a new color, of which all her sleep ware is made. Poor John Steffy went to look through the giant telescope at Mt. Palamore, California and broke it. He is still picking up the pieces. Larry Smith is now the Vocational Agriculture Teacher at our own Alma Mater. You've heard of Seeley Postropedic Mattresses, no doubt. Just add an H and make it Sheely, and you'll know what business Jackson's in. In his mind, Raymond was at the World Champion Wrestling Match of 1968 and passed the word along to that Bucky Hendrix was the winner. Bill Shipley owns the largest barber shop in Missouri, and has lowered the price of a haircut to 50£ so no one can say they can't afford it. Toyce Rayl is a Home Economics Teacher now, and the reason for her great success is that she guarantees any girl who finishes third year home economics a husband. Raymond said the thing that would shock us the most was the fact that Wayne Anderson is a preacher in one of the largest Baptist Churches in the world, and firmly believes that once saved, always saved. Linda Nicks has been classed as one of the ten best dressed women of the world. The reason for this is Bill Wyatt's success as a contractor. Donald Wilson and Talmadge McDaniel have gone into Dairy Farming; and all over the world Tal-Don is sold as the milk with the personality . Helen Jones was deep with disappointment because her mother would not let her join the Air Force. When Elvis Presley made a personal appearance at Fort Leonard Wood, and she went to see him, he asked her to marry him. She accepted, and they eloped. Vera and Violet Anderson decided they were going to look alike, and they entered the hospital to have plastic surgery; but after the operation was over, and the bandages finally removed, they were shocked to find out that Violet looked like Vera before, and Vera looked like Violet before, so they were right back where they started from. 26

Ken Greelv is in the Bicycle manufacturing business. The only trouble is that every bicycle is yellow. If you would tune in to station ZYZ from 12:00 to 3:00 a.m., the alluring voice of Miss Midnight would greet you. In real life she is Pat Feldmiller at her favorite past- time, talking. Frankie Dye, contrary to his last name, is in the bleach-making business. Dianna Appleby runs a marital relations clinic. Her method really works. When asked by young people for advice, she says, Just don't get married . Pat Hancock got married not too long after school was out, and by Pat's and Don's scrimping and saving, they have now bought Warren's Store. lean Robeson joined the Air Force a month after graduation, and has now become a registered nurse and is engaged to a Colonel. Carolyn Miller is a torch singer at her husband's night club, The Opposite of Heaven . Ray Holdman now owns the largest turkey farm and hatchery in the United States and advertises them as the Polts with a Past . Larry Watson did get an appointment to West Point and broke all basketball scoring records and was first in his class. He is now a captain, and coaches at West Point. Raymond said if you would look on any sheet music which western stars sing, you would find the lyrics are written by Ruby Jane Walker. Guess who is 6 feet tall? It's Carl Watson. He is the men's champion high diver and has just signed a life contract to appear on TV every Saturday. Leo McDaniel is now warden of Missouri State Penitentary. Eddie Posten calls for the world's champion square dance team. Guess what Marilyn Black is doing? While she was on her vacation in Hawaii, as a joke, she put on a hula hula skirt, and hasn't taken it off yet. Arthur Godfrey was searching for a new Hawaiian dancer and spotted Marilyn. If you want to see her, just turn your TV when Arthur announces May-Lay-Kay. Stan Gearhart was so in love with his little Studebaker that when the Studebaker Corporation was put up for sale, he borrowed the money from Mr. Murphy and bought it. Kay Scott Shivers is finally taking her prolonged honeymoon to Hawaii. The only sad thing is—they have to take their three sets of twins with them. Wilma Smith is Tack McLain's secretary. Maybe this doesn't sound spectacular, but that's where you are wrong. Our own Jack has taken Elvis Presley's place---side burns, wiggles and all. With all his fans, that means a big job for Wilma. Just at the moment Raymond began to predict his future, we heard beep, beep noises, and he was gone. 27
