In all seriousness the class prophecy is a big thing. Too often it is considered a mere joke. Not so. The problem of being able to take a ten-year look into the futures of the members of the Class of 1957 was solved when Ronnie Stout announced the completion of his time machine and offered its use to the Senior Class. Here is an accurate record of what the time-machine revealed to us who watched it. Sherril Shelton recently found such a hot strike in Alaska, where he is prospecting for uranium, that the government traded him a third share in Fort Knox for it. John McLain, after designing the new RHS building and gaining world-wide fame for his original creations, grew tired of it all and retired from his position of reknown to become, perhaps, the only bum in the world with a $2,197,450.38 bank account. Ronnie Osborne joined the F.B.I. The time-machine flashed Top Secret across the screen so I can't give you any more information about him. David Kissinger is in training with the 1968 U.S. Olympics Basketball Team. He really has the Russians worried. They seem to consider him some sort of secret weapon. Robert Fancher is under-study for the Secretary General of the U.N. To our surprise, we saw that Robert stood 6'4 as he dusted off the top of the S.G. 's desk. We happened to catch the Secretarial Convention of 1967 in Chicago and there we saw Marilyn Drennan who is secretary to a Texas oil tycoon. Marilyn Kissinger happened to be on vacation from her position as secretary to the American ambassador to Italy. She reports that she loves Italy—and the Italians. Norma Posten and Kathy Williams run the “Silver Fox Beauty Salon in fashionable New York and have bleached their hair platinum. Pat Browning had just won the Grand Prize in the National Recipe Contest for her raspberry preserves but was unable to go to New York to receive the prize because her youngest had the measles. Robert Roam is secretary to Prof Fulbright at M. U. Robert writes up most of the test papers-- just the questions. John Steffy, more commonly known in the sports world as The Terror of the 40-Yard Line, has just made the All-American Football Team. Some senator got mixed up and Kenneth Ross ended up at Annapolis instead of West Point. With the rank of Lieutenant Commander, Kenneth now enjoys a popular position in the Department of Defense in Washington D.C. Tohn Earl Kays was recently appointed 13th Vice-President at United Aircraft Corporation. Bob Reid is designing wallpaper for a big wallpaper firm in Boston. Ray Fishback is a radar operator on the Navy's new X-7 jet (so fast that it can complete a mission practically before you hear it take off). Ethel May Davenport is now an airline hostess for United Airlines. She was recently voted The Girl With Whom I Would Most Like To Crash On A Desert Island by the pilots of that Airlines Company. We picked up a copy of The Houston Chronical , hot off the press, to find the column of Julian Ann Douglas, world reknown foreign correspondent. She writes in the new international language. Mary Bailey is working on a M.A. which she is getting from Washington University in her spare time from her position on the staff at School of Nursing, St. Louis Baptist Hospital. The girl whom we knew as Barbara Carnes is married to a staff surgeon at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston. Barbara, herself a registered nurse, still has trouble taking her patients! temperatures —they're always above normal. Shirley Bowen had just won an all-expense paid Caribbean Cruise for her and her family on ABC-TV's Treasure Hunt.
