As the spirit, tension, and hopes build higher and higher, Rebeland is covered with an air of excitement which only this season can bring.

Donna and Judy make the sophomores chew straws. 5 e P f e m 6 Q I' Mrs. Lynch uses Gene and Susie make the sophomores kiss the a new method to Rebel flag in the gym. teach French. In their own special way, the Rebels start the yearoff by uphold ing the Rebel tradition of hazing the sophomores. Carrying trays, being tattooed with lipstick, and singing Dixie is only a small part of the welcome received by the sophomores. The climax and con- clusion is a Howdy Dance held in the court yard. Sonny tried to push one sophomore in a locker.
