Bands Presented First Concert The bands presented their first formal concert of the year on Wednesday, November 28, at 8 P.M., in the high school gym. The concert lasted approximately one hour and a half. This was a demonstration con- cert to shoyv the advancement from the elementary music the Beginners Band plays through the intermediate music of the Junior Band, to the advanced music of the Senior Band. The program began with Be- ginners Band which is composed of sixty seventh, eighth, and ninth graders. These members took lessons this summer and the pieces they played were compar- tively easy, with the emphasis on time and key. Their opening number was a march in two- four time, The Commander, followed by a waltz, Drifting RU'l Lommil For For Ruth Stc general c Delphian 1 season.
