Language Arts This year, English students were once again trained in the art of procrastination. All became experts in writing themes at the last possible minute. Besides theme writing, there were speeches to give and books to read. One change that the Language Arts Department had this year was the discontinuance of the elective program. All students had to enroll in a full year traditional English class. In the words of one English student, This was the most exciting year I’ve ever had!
