Courses in English, crealive wriling, speech. world lileralure, and drama were included in lhis curriculum. English classes al all levels included reading and analyzing lilerary works, learning lhe basics of ex- posilory wriling, sludying lhe English language, and developing oral communicalion skills. Special em- phasis was placed on lhe linguislics unil in lenlh grade. As iuniors, wriling skills were used lo slruc- lure analylical papers.
