I knew I shouldn't have dropped my glasses! Serious Sam the Measuring Man. The Richfield Science Department offers many opportunities to its students. Biology is required for sophomores. This year many more have been able to participate in the BSCS program because of additional teachers and team teaching rooms. Many juniors and seniors take the excellent courses offered in chemistry and physics. Those students especially interested may take a second year of chemistry or biology and may be given the opportunity for independent study. We at RHS can be proud of the modern and complete science department. New and modern textbooks and experimental study and teaching programs are used for the best possible education of the student. Opportunities for laboratory experience arc also diverse and provide the students with a realistic view of what they arc learning.
