 Have a lemon drop? This has probably been one of the most frequently asked questions around Richfield High School. The originator —Mr. Kohl, of course! His lively interest in school activities has seen our school through seven years of Psychology courses, ever-changing tap lines, and the herculean task of the annual Variety Show. His ever-ready sense of humor and amicable attitude arc conveyed to all those with whom he comes in contact. His spirit, wit, friendliness, talent and leadership have served our school well. We the staff proudly and gratefully dedicate this, the 1961 AurcAn, to Mr. Wesley Kohl. II

This marked the seventeenth year of service to the Richfield School System by Mr. Harry Rumpel. As superintendent, he is responsible for planning a suitable curriculum, supervising the faculty, and keeping the public informed of the activities of the school board and its administration. Mr. Carlton Lytle, assistant superintendent, has been with the Richfield School System for six years. His duties are to aid the superintendent in ever)' way possible. 12 The Richfield Board of Education is the organization responsible for decisions on educational policies toward students in the Richfield School System.
