DISTRICT ADMINISTR TIO l i i SUPERINTENDENT HARRY E, RUMPEL Mr. Harry Rumpel received his Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Ripon College at Ripon, Wisconsin and his Master of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. He enioys all types of athletics with baseball and football being his favorites, he also enioys hunting, fishing, and reading. The duties of Nlr. Rumpel include the responsibility of the entire ing and supervising the faculty, and keeping the public informed of the activities of the School Board and its administration. During the seventeen years that Mr. Rumpel has been with the Richfield school system, he has Watched it grow from a meager beginning to its present status. Much of the credit is due to his tireless efforts and willingness to advance the cause of education in Rich- field. Richfield School System, Some of the areas of his work are planning a suitable curriculum, indirectly employ- iiiiiiiii 'X'- ll remmmfm RICHFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION CARLTON LYTLE Kenneth Johnson, Gunnar Ahlquist, Norman Barsness, Chairman, Robert Gunderson, Mr. Lytle, assistant superintendent, Clerk, Kenneth Forsland, Treasurer, Lorin Gasterland. who has been with the Richfield School System for three years, re- ceived his B.A. degree from Iowa State College and his Nl.A. from the University of Iowa. He enioys golfing and fishing. The Richfield Board of Education determines the educational policy which guides the training of the students and, in some instances, adults. The board is pledged to serve honestly, constructively, and in keeping with principles and policies developed by the professional workers in education. 6

GENEVIEVE WISE, ROBERT CHRISTIANSON S I S T A N T D COUNSELORS Miss Wise received her B.A. degree from Parsons College and her M.A. degree from the University of Iowa. She enioys knitting, reading, and travel. Mr. Christianson received both his B.S. and M.A. degrees from the University of Minnesota. He enioys fishing, gardening, and his work as stage crew advisor. Guiding educational-vocational planning, assist- ing students in getting information about colleges, trade school, and job opportunities, and helping students with personal adjustments which often involve parental contact are a few of their many important duties. Also included are promoting stronger student and teacher relationships. P R I N C I P A L CLAIR BARTOSH Mr. Bartosh received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Falls River State College and his Master of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. In his free time he enioys most sports and fishing, although his great love is hunting.
