Though they were accused of studying a dead language, these students recognized certain benefits in studying this language of the ancient Romans. Latin students held monthly meetings with in- formative and entertaining programsg-they published the VOX ARIETUM, a magazine containing articles by Latin stuclentsg and they attended the State JCL Con- vention in Baytown.
