GOLFERS CAPTURED 2nd at DISTRICT Julian Henriquesj individually. The number two team, composed of Phil Chaffins, Skip Purvis, Bill Cecka, and Jimmy Clark took the lead during the first dayis playing but dropped back to fifth place in final standings. Richfield's first team captured the second place tro- phy with a team score of 670. This team, made up of Bob Burgess, Scott Jones, Tommy Herring, and Mike Standefer, advanced to Re- gionals. Scott Jones received recog- nition as a medalist with a score of 155. At the Regional Tournament the Rams placed ninth in a field of twelve with Scott Jones second low man in the tourney. END Mike Standefer and Tommy Herring planned strategy for the next hole. Bill Cecka played with the number 2 team at District.
