Sprinters Peeler Williams, Walker Harman, and Jimmy Crow warm up before Waco Meet 220 The Richfield track team started the 1965 seaso off with a bang in a practice track meet in whic Waco High, University, Bryan, and Richfield partic' pated. There were no official scores taken, but Ric field did very Well - especially in field events. In the Waco Tournament, Richfield came in se ond with a total of 73 points. Johnny Griffis set re ords in the discus throw and shot put. Sophomor Jimmy Miller set a record in the 880-yard run. Th team won the district championship. Griffis was se ond high point man with 20. Going to regional we Griffis, Miller, Kent Starr, Ed Jarrett, Jimmy Cro Earl Peevey, Milton Painter, Dickie Wooten, Walk Harman, and Peeler Williams.
