Although the Rams had 24 first downs to A1'lington's 5, they came from behind for their fourth win of the season. The Jackets scored first, but the Rams drove 63 yards in 17 plays for a score by Reisig on the fourth down. On their first second-half possession the Rams drove 61 yards in 6 plays. To complete the drive, Reisig passed to Crow, who grabbed the ball and breezed into the end zone. Rams Run Over Rebels, 6-0 A brilliant defense and a pass interception by Darnell Losak stunned the Robert E. Lee Rebels and pushed the Rams ahead 6-0. The stingy Ram defense stopped the Rebels cold the second half, not letting the Rebels pass their own 49 yard line. During the first quarter the Rebels drove to the Richfield ll yard line, but the Rams held tight. The deciding play came during the second period when Losak picked off a pass hurled by Mike Rowan. Losak was hit at the 35 but recovered and breezed down the sideline to the end zone. After recov- ering a fumble at midfield the Rams faced fourth and thirteen when Dickie Wooten's punt touched a Rebel, bounced off and was recovered by Ray Goodman at the 15. The Rams drove to the 4 and on the fourth down tried for a field goal which failed. The score remained 6-0. At the end of the third period the score was tied 6-6 when Terry Reisig, after a hard hit by Mar- shall defender, Don McElvogue, fumbled and Jim Ethrite caught the ball and ran 34 yards to the end zone. Early in the fourth quarter the Rams marched to the Marshall 26, but the Mavericks braced and held for four downs. A Maverick is stopped by Parrish C747 and Crow 6223. Reisig gets away and runs for cruc1al yardage
