Five Richfield players were named to the all-zone team. Left to right they are: Carl Weaver, Roy Taylor, Ray Goodman, Bill Dietz, and Terry Reisig. Those players receiving honorable mention are: Tom Bond, Jerry Chatham, Robert Forsythe, Johnny Griffis, Rick Johnson, Darnell Losak, and Kent Starr.

Touchdown! Rams Blitz Bisons In Opener The Rams opened their 1964 season by blasting the Sunset Bisons 28-0. Bill Dietz' first appearance as full- back was a mighty one. Darnell Losak, Jimmy Crow, and John Griffis seemed in full form for the first game. Defensive standouts were Tom Bond, Roy Taylor, and Jimmy Smith. Bond set up the first touchdown by re- covering a fumble on the Sunset 10 yard line. After Terry Reisig's 1-yard dive for the second touchdown,the Rams led 14-0 at halftime. Then the Rams plunged 60 yards in four plays as Dietz ran 33 yards to score. The final scoring came when Smith intercepted a pass and set up an 80-yard, nine-play drive.
