The Richfield choral department, led by Mr. Loyd Hawthorne, is one of the school's largest and most outstanding organizations, The department is divided into five choirs with the Varsity Choir at its head. Members of the choirs have an annual candy sale to raise money. The choral stu- dents also present a musical each spring and participate in the Interscholastic League Solo Contest. Six members of the choral depart- ment were selected for the All-State Choir this year. Jan Smith sings People for the PTA Open House.
