,Mimi Brister examines television bought by Student Council. The Student Council of Richfield provides a means of representation between homerooms and the student government. The officers of the organi- zation are elected by the student body and serve for one school year. The Student Council sponsors the homecoming activities, the Richfield March of Dimes Drive, the publication of student directories, and the election of the Citizens of the Month. Other projects sponsored by the Council include Corrigan Weekend, dress-up day, and Christmas decorations for the school. 'A Mac Arnold and Mrs. Maxwell plan the March of Dimes Drive. tux 5 ,, -.,,.. Safet Committee rifle The Safety Committee made an effort this year to improve eating conditions in the cafeteria. 128 The purpose of the Safety Committee is to make Richfield and the surrounding communi- ty safe from all types of accidents. The com- mittee tries to accom- plish this goal by elim- inating hazardous con- ditions before they can result in mishaps.
