We’re Building Our Pride The tornado of March 28, 1984, necessitated a massive building program at Richard Winn Academy. The efforts of many people made possible a fine new facility that reflects the excellence to which RWA has been dedicated for the nineteen years of its existence. This excellence is seen in the numerous ac- complishments of our students. For instance, an extremely high percentage of our graduates seek a higher education, and many receive college scholarships and advance place- ment. Our students consistently gain recognition in academic and music competition, as well as in athletic con- tests. This year Richard Winn has a National Merit Scholar. These accomplishments certainly reflect the dedication to excellence of everyone involved with this school. Ac- tually, the new buildings will symbolize the pride we have in the quality of our total program. Yes, we’re building at Richard Winn: We're Building Our Pride.
