Dedication Our most heartfelt appreciation is given to Mrs. Dorothy Beach. Since 1966, she has been a “first . .. first Senior class sponsor, first Beta Club sponsor, first person to lend a helping hand in any project from Beauty Pageant to Junior-Senior. She has served as a teacher of many subjects to many students. She has shown herself to be one of the most outstan- ding members of the R.W.A. family. The Journalism Class takes great pride in dedicating the 1982 edition of the Aerie to Mrs. Dorothy Beach. 6

Board of Directors Richard Winn Academy is govern- ed by a Board of Directors consisting of twelve members and the Head- master. The Board’s primary con- cerns are with the policies of the school which affect its growth and philosophy. The administrative and operative duties are vested in the Headmaster.
