Writing compositions, making oral reports, composing business letters, and reading literature of all types occupied most of our time. Mr. Schneider smiles as P. Best takes over Senior English class for a few minutes. i 5 X

Students donning earmuffs and composing their own study tapes enlivened already lively foreign language classes. Using the new tape recorder and microphone sys- tem, Mrs. Pyne and Mr. Wight led us through newly prepared and issued material. From room two twelve floated parts of Cicero's ora- tion against Catiline, spoken by our first Latin III class, sometimes augmented by our Latin II classes and Cae- sar's Gallic Wars. Many of us will not forget .the faculty's enthusiasm which made these languages a part of us.
