R for the Road we traveled, to reach our final goal; I for the iron-strong Interest to fill this final roll; C stands for cherished Courage, to stand for all things right; H for the Hearts high hoping our future may be bright; A for our Aims so ardent in later parts of life; R for the Rights we cherish won for us by hard strife; D for the sternest Duty that calls w herever we go.
