M Club This year, for the first time, a boys’ athletic club was organized as a counterpart to the Girls’ Athletic Association. Together they plan and supervise the various athletic events of the school. Their chief joint activity during the past year was the sponsoring of the annual Sportsmanship Basketball Tournament. This group was appropriately named the “M” Club because only those boys who have won a varsity letter are entitled to membership. Sponsored by Mr.| Matthews, the club lias for its president Jack Freeburger. The group meets twice monthly for the purposes of planning farm projects, discussing agricultural methods, and learning the latest and best techniques in rural living. Girls' Athletic Association Girls in the senior high school who are interested in the school's athletic program may become members of the Girls’ Athletic Association, which is sponsored by Miss Will. Our aim is to create more interest in athletics and to promote better sportsmanship. Most of the members are front the basketball team and the cheering squad. Our most important activity this year was the organizing and sponsoring of the interschotl basketball tournament. Officers are: Betty Jo Marshall, president; Janet Miller, vice-president; Lorraine Kitts, secretary; Gladys Garland, treasurer. Other members are: Mary Ellen Barry, Harriet Browning.
