Washington Trip Committee We want to visit our Capital City! One of the outstanding projects of the Senior Class is to plan money raising events, study our tour, and work toward the realization of this dream. We organize our class in many committees to see this one challenge become a reality. We operated the Snack Bar, sponsored a movie, a supper, sold candy, helped with the Beauty Pageant, and presented a play in order that we could make this trip. What are the challenges? We want to know our Capital City in order to understand our government. The following places will be visited: The Capital, Congress, White House, The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the Supreme Court, the Art Galleries, and memorials such as the Washington Monument, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Lincoln, Jefferson, and Iwo Jima. We want to share these experiences with others in order to help our government to grow into the kind of nation we want it to be. 13

DEDICATION DEDICATION The I960 Lasso is dedicated to a member of the Rich Valley High faculty, Mr. Joseph F. Crabtree. Through each challenge he has inspired us to do more efficient work. In conquering these challenges we have acquired respect and admiration for him as a person and as a teacher. The seniors take great pride in presenting this our yearbook to Mr. Joseph F. Crabtree. 14
