This book was designed to tell the Rich East story of 1968- 'I969 exactly as it happened. lt has taken the cooperation of many people, and the hard work of a few to make this book possible. All are to be thanked. Special thanks must go out to Dick Moore, of Paragon Publishing, to William Jennings and Walinger Studios who are largely responsible for the high quality photographs in this book. And, of course, we owe a great deal to Mr. and Mrs. Rinkenberger who put up with us, helped us and made this book what it is. It is the hope of the staff and myself that upon glancing through this book, it will stir up memories of this past year. We hope that we have fto use an over-usecl phrasej told it like it was. Wfafi?
