The team owed much of its success to the coaching of Mr. Ron Stillman: Rich Sammons and Iohn Crowley provided effective pitching for the squad while Ron Deluco was the leading hitter. IlASlBAll The varsity baseball team, coached by Mr. Swanson, had a chain of rough luck as they dropped eleven of eighteen games. They won six games and tied one. In conference competition they had a record of five won, six lost and one tie. The team's batting was led by Catcher Bart Zeller and the leading pitcher was Ierry Buchmeier.
