The word sophomore is derived from two Greek words meaning foolish and wise , and the word sophomore really fits the transition which the class has made. From the beginning of the year which carried overtones of the foolish freshmen, the class has progressed - they built a homecoming float, handled the coat-check concession and elected class officers, Dick Horchler, Kathy Kaericher, Ianice Young and Patricia Craddock, and student council representatives, Tom Eisner, Ian Furgason, Kathi Norris and Iim Klutznick. Both scholastically and athletically the sophomores were distinguished with many students qualifying for the honor roll and many being active in varsity debate, tennis and music. SIIPHUIVIUHIS MASS IIHIIIIRS PATRICIA CRADDOCK, Treasurer KATHY KAEHICHER, Vice President IANICE YOUNG, Secretary DICK I-IORCHLER, President -,ms W , , Linda May exemplifies sophomore scholastic achievement.
