CAMERA A Il MATH UllIllS To gain practical experience in applying the fundamentals of the art of photography, members of the Camera Club clicked their shutters at such activities as Homecoming, the Halloween Dance and the Christmas formal. lack Henning searches for an unusual picture subject. In order to further its members' interest in and the knowledge of mathematics beyond the classroom level, the Math Club, under the sponsorship of Mr. Donald Devine, was fortunate to hear lectures given by professional mathematicians. The goal of the Electronics Club is to further the knowledge of its members in operating electronic equipment. The major project this year was to instigate the sale of 1,000 bags of apples to earn money for the Rich High FM station. The launching ot a small rocket was the high point of the year for the Rocket Society. The design of the rocket was made by club members, guided by Mr. Robert Gartner. The construction ot the body was done by U.S. Steel Corporation and the launching was supervised by the U.S. Army. The members of Esroh Srevol found an outlet for their love of man's equine friends through such activities as a horse show presented by the members themselves and a field trip to the International Horse Show in Chicago. Aides assisted the classroom teachers in the use of this equipment. This year members of the group were instrumental in helping to outfit the new screening room. llllll Ill AIIIES The library aides relieved Mr. Maturano and Mrs. Davis of many of the routine library tasks by checking out and shelving books, preparing overdue notices, rearranging the magazines and library furniture and thus helped to provide a more efficiently operated library.
