Organized to promote interest in creative writing, the Creative Writing Club, directed by Mr. Moore, improved the quality of writing of its members. Many of their best efforts were published in a local magazine. The Debating Society represented Rich in interscholastic competition. Activities of the group included competitive debates with successful records at Northwestern University Augustana College and Bremen Community High School.
