Orientation was the beginning, finals were the end, this was the scope of the first semester and in this respect it was like all others, but only in this respect. The faces had changed, old friends had graduated or left the school for some other reason: bright eyed, idealistic, brainy freshmen had taken their places. Even the campus had changed, Ryon lab was well on the way to completion, and over in the northeast corner of the campus excavation was under way for a new women's college to be named in honor of Margaret Root Brown.
