The class elections in Octolier. handled hy this body were more orderly and democratic than in previous years because of the uniform liallots which were used. At Christmas the Council sponsored a lienefit dance. the proceeds from which were used to purchase boxes of food for the needy. Other projects undertaken by the Student Council have been weekly socials, lius trips to out-of-town football and basktball games. and a Tag Day Dance. 67
