BASEBALL The baseball team, directed by Coach Alberico, are hopeful of a good year. We have many players returning this year, '58-'59. Players returning are Ray Houle, first base and pitcher, Mike Thibault, pitcher, Gary Lambert, pitcher, Tom Gabbeitt, first base, Jack Sturzenburger, second base, Bob Halpin, second base, jim Leddy, catcher, Moe La- France, outfield, Clifford Pashby, outfield, john Cross, shortstop, and last but not least, big Tom O'Connor, outfield.

LAST ROW: Coaches Bill Landers, Ray Tafrate. TRACK Although the track season has not arrived as of now we are looking forward to a very successful year. We have many prospects for winners in the making. We expect to win the Plattsbury Invitational once again and also to have several boys among the state's best. We will have Tom Perras, Ed Mercaldo, Tom Gabbeitt, Eugene Cross, Ron Oliver, Pat Wilson, Bob LaMothe, Mike Rivers, Chris Terrien, Gerry Desuatels as returning lettermen. Under the watchful eye of Coach Landers and Coach Tafrate the boys will be properly trained for their respective events.

FRONT ROW, left to right: Barbara Risik, Carol Allard, Patricia Brown, Sharon Beck, Gail Kaufman. GIRLS? BASKETBALL The R.H.S. Squaws finished the 1958-59 season with a record of 2 wins and 6 losses. The team, despite their record, shows good promise for the coming season. Next year the team will be playing without the services of their Co- Captain Theresa Lessard, who will be graduating this year. Leading the girls in scoring was Pat Brown with 184 points, followed by Elaine Mongeon with 53 points and Pearl Sourdiff with 47 points. Many thanks are owed to our Coach Maureen Shea and her assistant Mar- garet Lemon who have both contributed their time and effort in coaching the girls. COACH
