AND GHRLS9 STATE Even john had to work. Looking forward ! On June 15, 1958, the Sixteenth Annual Session of Green Mountain Boys' and Girls' State was convened. During our week at this model state, we learned how to become better citizens and better friends by participating in civic and social activities. We are grateful to the American Legion and the other sponsoring organizations for making possible this wonderful experience. 77

STUDENT CUUNfClllL4 On the agenda of the Student Council this year was the symbolic task of transferring the newly polished tro- phies from their old home at Cathedral to the new show- cases at Rice. Some of their other very useful jobs in- cluded the management of the student store and Other little things which made the transition from C.H.S. to R.M.H.S. easier and more efficient. Along the social line they sponsored weekly socials. the annual Christmas dance and other worthwhile entertainment. -s 'X 'Q t A

The 'unusual shadow dancing of the Poor People of Paris will be re- membered as the height of their travelogue along with those coy tail-wagging Siamese cats. SENIORS Placing first for the third year in a row, this year's seniors were justly proud of their Class Re- union. Remember funny Josephine, Sweet Geor- gia Brown and how the band brought down the house with Marie, This will be a fond memory of the parting class of 59.
