Before the season started, the coach, Mr. Birdsall, knew that the material was promising. Last year's freshmen missed the city crown by one game. It soon became apparent however, that last year's stars could not play together well The showing of Bob Sullivan in the last few enough or consistently enough to withstand the tough competition of the C.H.S.A.A. games gives hope for future varsity success.

When the announcement was made over the P.A. system, over fifty men turned out and the Coach has been giving them the once over in the gym and on the field.
