MAJURETTE The majorettes under the leadership of Gayle Godfrey have done different varieties of activities, during the football season. You could see their high stepping legs and cheerful smiling faces at every home game. They performed during half time, and also led the parades before all games. The majorettes do have certain qualities they have to maintain in order to become a majorette. These qualifications are: Co-operation, ability to twirl, rhythm, and neat mess. The majorettes also performed at home games during basketball season. They are a very well organized group of girls under the leadership of Gayle Godfrey and Mr. Kuntz. There are six graduating seniors this year, who are Gayle Godfrey, Lois Jean Houck, Nancy Andrews, Ann Breining, Nancy Wurst, and Edwinna Grove. LEFT: Nancy Wurst, Nancy Andrews. Their new gold uniforms and school spirit add much to our football and basketball games. The Varsity squad consists of Captain Janet Heckman, Nancy Godfrey, Marilyn Cochran, Linda Steinle, Carol Heckman, and Gloria Angerer. The cheerleaders receive a letter for cheering two years and all senior members receive a jacket. Under the leadership of Miss Grenz, the girls have put on many skits in pep assemblies and sold slushburgers. KNEELING: G. Angerer, C. Heckman, M. Cochran, J. Heckman. STANDING: L. Steinle, N.
