.G.A. The Union Girls' Athletic Association is a club for promoting girls' athletics at Union High. The girls receive points for a participating in sports which enable them to earn awards. They take part in such activities as intramural volleyball, basketball, bowling, and softball. A minimum of thirty-five points a semester is required to belong. A bake sale was held in the fall. The club is planning to pack Easter baskets for the needy children in the community. The biggest event of the school year is Club Union which was held March 4. It is compiled by a capable staff of reporters and typists representing each ofthe classes of Union High School. Yerskey. LIBRARY CLUB This year our Library Club is under the sponsorship of Mr. Lawson, our new librarian. It has a membership of approximately forty girls. The Library Club is really growing this year. As members of the club we are responsible for helping Mr. Lawson repair books, and check them in and out. The officers and Mr. Lawson and Mr. Kelly went through other schools to see how their library operated, and brought back many new ideas for our library. Interest in the books of the library has increased, and students have taken very good care of their book.
