These students do the jobs which make our days at Union more enjoyable. 'l'heir work includes selling ice cream and milk, working the P. A. system, taking care of the stage, and guarding the halls. Maybe this recognition in our yearbook will help to show our appreciation for their fine work. 55 4+7+

fl 9 UNITASf4f7f 44 H 0I1l0l' aze The fall ol' '46 we came To win diplomas was our aim. A long and happy year ahead. But how these last few months have sped! Remember all those football games We cheered through sun and cold and rain. We fought for East-West title fame. But that was when we lost the game. Remember all those freshmen looks So frightened as they held our books. Then fellows gave the gals a chance To date for the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Then came the winter ice and snow And how those winter winds did blow! They kept us from our teachers fond. No school meant skating on the pond. Next came that sweethearts' day for all, Their hearts were gay at The Candy Heart Ball . Basketball -faincs were exciting this fear, 21 D The season's end too soon was here. One night to our dismay we found Our gym was strewn with cans around. The gals were dressed without a ilounce, That's right-it was The Boxcar Bounce. The Senior Prom, that gala night, lelelped store away our memories bright. The Senior Play, a huge success, Caine with those awful final tests. That happy week-end that we spent When on our senior trip we went. Ah, yes, these days were filled with fun, But now all our high school days are done. Wilma IIOSSIIIUII 56
