Without a doubt, they were successful because on April I0 and I l the audience heard some beautiful music. We were all proud ol' them. The chorus made one trip to Wesleyville in April to give a musical program in return for the one they brought to us earlier in the year. The joke of the year was heard at chorus rehearsal just before the concert when lllr. Wood said, All right, girls, 'Kiss Me Againif' We'll never quite forget that one. As any inelnbcr will tell you, the chorus is one place where work can be fun. And the wonderful thing is that their work gives the rest ol' us enjoyment, too. MI' vcdoof gan!! l,I'f?Slil1Cl1l , ., slkflarion Robertson Secrvlary-'l'reasur0r,, , , , , s ,, , Dorothy .Kirkland This is a brand new group in which we're all interested. VVe've heard them play every day this year and, at lirst, it sounded pretty awful. But, under the direction of Mr. Wood, they've made so much progress that we actually look forward to eighth period practice. The band made several appearances this year, but their big nights were April 10 and ll when they took part in our annual spring concert. 'l'heir music makes us realize how valuable an asset a school band can be. Yet, the fact that we've been without one these past few years makes us appreciate Mr. Wood and his band all the more. 53

These students do the jobs which make our days at Union more enjoyable. 'l'heir work includes selling ice cream and milk, working the P. A. system, taking care of the stage, and guarding the halls. Maybe this recognition in our yearbook will help to show our appreciation for their fine work. 55 4+7+
