In their independent games the team won one and lost two. They beat Wesleyville 13-0 and lost to Franklin I2-0 and Millcreek 6-0. Sam Tome and Larry Pennica were the team's high scorers with 43 and 36 points, respectively. Larry Pennica and Aiaynard Sanders were chosen on the All County first team, while Dick Platz placed on the second team. Martin Chulick and Larry Pennica represented Union in the East-West All Star Game. 1 Graduating lettermen-fLarry Pennica, John lVlcDannel, Gordon Larson, Wilbur Everett, .Bob Payne, George Schmidt', and Martin Chulick. 'lihe boys won eight and lost four in league play with a total of l0 wins and I0 losses, including independent games. ln regular league play the team scored 50l, points to opponents 459 and, including independent games, they scored 707 points to opponents 704 points. Larry Pennica and Ed Orr were higl1 scorers with I74 and l72 points, respectively. Graduating lettermen include Ed Orr, Captaing Larry Penniea, Richard Morse, George Schmidt, Lyle Thompson, Wilbur Everett, Bob Swanson, and John McDannel.
