The last three years that I have spent at Rhodes I have established lifelong friends and memories I will hold onto for the rest of my life. I am very proud of this school and I'm glad I can call it mine. Though I will be moving on with my life and spending another four years in college. I will never forget the wonderful times and the good education I got by growing up at Rhodes High School. Sandy Bruggeman ... I have learned that co-operation works both ways. Remember: Car washes, skating parties and bake sales Busing notices that came through the mail. Staying awake until two. studying for a test, Then just trying to do one’s very best. Two years of strikes by the teachers. Loyal fans sitting in the bleachers. Volleyball and football in the fall. And then in winter, track and basketball. When we look back upon these years. The memories may bring forth tears. In our heart ’till the day we die. We shall hold a part of Dear Old Rhodes High. Susan Long Nonconformity is the key to all great discoveries. Never be afraid to be different, and always speak your mind. David Sprague It is very hard for people to be different within Rhodes. In order to be accepted and liked, everyone must move with accepted styles. This is unfortunate, but I hope we will learn to accept people for what they are, and learn to search for new and innovative ways of expression. Jeannine Woos We came to America from India two years ago. Not knowing anything about American ways, we were anxious to find out. We were put in a Lau Compliance class, with other foreign students. Miss Ghattas. our teacher, was so understanding and patient with us. She really helped us a lot. We are very thankful to have had this special class and special teacher.
