To the Class of ,75 Going to school or teaching school is a little like an adventure--a lot of people find themselves going in the same direction, sharing moments of friendship. Our paths began to parallel when you started in the 10th grade and I was given the wonderful opportunity of being Principal here at Rhodes. Your class was a irst for me--and there's only one first! Now, this part of our journey--these three years we have spent together--is over for you. You are grad- uating into a world that at times appears foreboding and full of problems. But, they are not insurmount- able. They are, in fact, challenges that I know you will face squarely and win! I know this because I know you. It has been your flexibility, your wisdom, your loyalty and strengths that have helped keep Rhodes strong. I want to thank each of you for your contri- bution to the progress we have made. One thing more, traveling with you these three years has been a warm and satisfying experience for me. For this I am deeply grateful.
