MISS PALMER As we approached the senior year, we suddenly realized that soon we would be facing new and more difficult problems. At this time, when we felt we needed help to make decisions, you, Mr. Ferguson, concerned yourself with our problems and in your kind manner helped us to solve our difficulties. The affect this guidance will have on our future lives will certainly be invaluable. We, the seniors; therefore, thank you wholeheartedly for the extreme interest you have shown in our well-being at Rhodes and your advice as to our preparation for our future vocations. For your friendly, wise, and cheerful guidance; your willingness to hear our problems, both in and out of school and to help us solve them; for giving us moral support when we needed it; and for helping us to achive success in all our undertakings; we wish to thank you, Miss Palmer. To you Mr. Gaiser, we wish to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for your unlimited assistance. While at Rhodes you became both our counsellor and a good friend. In each capacity you have served us well. We, the senior class wish you much success in your new appointment as principal of Brownell Junior High School. We appreciate your fine work as our interim assistant principal during our final semester. The members of our class will always thank you, Mr. Ralls, for the wise counsel and guidance you have given us. We the senior class wish to welcome you, Mr. Blum, as our new assistant principal. We hope that your association with James Ford Rhodes will be a pleasant and interesting one. Our stay at Rhodes has come to an end, and we hope that when we leave, you will remember our class as a class of which you may always be proud. SINCERELY. THE JUNE CLASS OF 1957
