WITH DEEPEST APPRECIATION To Miss Brooker, who has been a great help to us during our four years' course at Rhodes, who has always been faithful to our interests and considerate of our every wish, who has been tolerant of our sometimes difficult behavior, and who has mysteriously been just one jump ahead of us, we express our gratitude and appreciation. To Mr. Merriman we wish to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for his unlimited assistance, not only in the field of education but also in the many little ways he has helped each and cvory one of us. We shall forever be in his debt for the kindness he has shown us during the past four years, for the interest he has token in our class, for the various times he has gone out of his way to give us help, and for his guidance in our youthful problems. Humbly we thank you!

MISS HIER MR. BRYAN MR. FERGUSON We, the graduoting class of January, 1953, with deep reverence, wish to offer our sincere thanks. We wish to thank you for your guidance in aiding us to choose the right courses, for your encouragement when things looked bad. Although ot times it was difficult for us to comprehend the whys and wherefores, of your advice, we con ot this time see the reasons, all of which have proved to be sound. One of the most inadequate phrases of the English language is thank you. We have found that the simple things in life are often more sincere than the eloquent. So in our humble way we want you to know that our gratitude and thank you comes from the heart.
