Both in classroom and in personal contacts with students he has shown a true concern for the indi- vidual and his needs. ‘Touching many fields, his knowl- edge is willingly shared. He is never too busy for a student who comes to him for help or advice; no matter what the problem, he recognizes both large and small matters as being important to the individual. His efforts to aid the student in facing and meeting a situation are un- selfishly given. In deep appreciation, on behalf of the students of Southwestern, we dedicate the 1957 LYNX to Dr. E.
