Wou never realized the complexities in- volved in simply putting paint on canvas. It all seems so easy . . . so uninvolved. After encountering so many difficulties from day to day you realize what a thor- | ough knowledge the masters had of .the art of painting, and the responsibilities that rest on your shoulders as a vocational descendant of these great men. You're constantly working for the goal which is to hear those words for a job well done, “That’s a handsome piece of paint”.
