IPED Ee ]2UGNeL © RaaGe its E ARE one now, but we have not always been so. It is an intricate process to record our history, for it originates from many sources and thus has not been a unit. We are not different from other classes of this war-world. Acceleration has advanced some, retarded some, and even discouraged some; but the decreeing hand has been steadied by the promising present and normalcy finds the class of 46 slightly small numerically, yet exceedingly interested mentally. It is difficult to describe our past, for not all members have known the same events. The World War II has not only affected private lives, but also school life, in that it demanded many of the students for more important work, thus temporarily limiting any and all possibilities and desires. But now that the prospect of a stable curriculum is a near reality, school activities are materializing. That is why ours is a present history— a record of the past year—a story of War Bonds, swimming, plays, class rings, dances, Canteen, Glee Club, assemblies, student council participa- tion, and a pleasant coffee hour. Yes, we have been busy, but we have been lonely, too; lingering on tales of the past and the might have been. However, they are gone and now we look forward to a future certainty and we are thankful.
