Driven by a desire to excell the excellent, the Staff has worked long and faithfully to create a book worthy to take its place among its noted predeces- sors, the twelve previous issues of 1'lICOI.ED. l'Vhat success this thirteenth issue may meet can be attributed not only to those pictured here, but to the many people who so cheerfully gave of their time, tal- ent, and cooperation that they have come to be considered as part of the unoflicial staff. Mention must be made of the creative editorial assistance of Rita Carey, '41, Elena Calabro, '42, and Eliza- beth Ormsby. Members of the official and unolhcial staffs have strivcn to make RICOLED, 1941 a typical picture of the College, that some time in the future when these pages are read again, the stu- dents may truthfully say, This is the R.
