f f 'J Taking a break before practice for the Homecoming ceremony are the class representatives. Tears of joy dampen Holly’s face as she’s crowned by last year’s queen Angie Murcko. Some shade-y characters! The Raiders started out Homecoming night, September 25, with a roll over the Sharpsville Blue Devils, 46-17 At halftime Angie Murcko relinquished the crown of Homecoming queen to Holly Messina. The other attendants included seniors Vicki Kasbee and Tami Sherbondy, junior Michele Blake, sophomore LeaAnn Koehne, and freshman Janelle Ondo. The Homecoming dance was from 8-11 p.m. on September 26 for grades 9-12. The students who attended danced to the beat of the ‘‘Rockaholics.” The theme was “I Won’t Forget You.” The memories of this joyful occasion will never be forgotten. ‘‘It was every bit as good as other years if not better. The weather was in our favor,” stated Mrs. Carol Moon, math teacher and co-advisor of Stu- dent Council. Kimberly Jo Malencia Introduction 5

“ 4 JlcCtfe Sit Lockers. Counter Clockwise. Where’s a step ladder, when ypu need one! The collegic look. Is it Christmas, yet? (HOHO). If you think this is mpssy, you should see my bedroom. STARTLING NEWS Your locker reveals the true you Did you know that there are 2,409 lockers in our school; however, only about 45% of them are actually used. Of course we all know how empty lock- ers are confiscated by upper classmen, and thus the actual percentage is prob- ably considerably higher. Many students reveal their true selves by adding miscellaneous items to their lockers. You can always tell the ‘‘jock’s” lock- er for the inside door is lined with photos of beauties in bathing suits or better yet a centerfold (without the sta- ple) of Miss June. On the other hand, the “popular” girl’s locker is filled with everything from vanity miribrs and memo pads to pictures of Chippendale dancers and lip gloss. And then finally there are the two complete opposites. The “neat” fanatic who alphabetizes all their books and makes sure everything is dust-free, while the “first class slob shoves ev- erything and anything in his locker, causing an avalanche every time he opens his locker. But this just goes to show the saying ‘To each his own” is alive and well at Reynolds High. Introduction 7
