A few more hours to be complete, A few more nights on satin sheets, A few more times that I can say ... I’ve loved these days ... Billy Joel 2 TufnarrDw's Leaders 5 7 WBE Homecoming The Homecoming game against Kennedy Christian began with the crowning of the queen. The theme for the dance was “Rainbow Connection Out on the ocean sailing away I can hardly wait To see you come of age But I guess we’ll both Just have to be patient It’s a long way to go A hard row to hoe Yes it’s a long way to go. But in the meantime ... Before you cross the street Take my hand Life is what happens to you While you’re busy Making other plans ... John Lennon 12 Dedication Have you ever needed your schedule changed or needed help with college applications? Well. If these problems have ever occurred, you probably went to Mrs. Price for assistance. Mrs. Price has been a helpful and devoted member of the R.H.S. faculty for many years now. and she has chosen this year to retire. After retirement she plans to do a lot of traveling and visiting with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Price would also like to put more time Into her favorite hobby, doll collecting. For all her years of helpfulness and devotion to the students of R.H.S.. the Crest staff would like to thank Mrs. Price by dedicating the 1982-83 yearbook to her. Once again, thank you and good luck! 16 President. Dave D’Urso; Vice-President. Brad Relchard; Secretary; Mary Prezlo- so; Treasurer. Terri Arblaster. On May 7, 1982. couples dressed in tuxedos with boutonnieres and gowns brightened with corsages strolled through the colorful pink and red heart. As they entered the enchanted evening, their expressions were one of “We’ve only just begun. “Hostages” provided the musical entertainment while couples danced around a beautifully decorated gazebo. Adding to the atmosphere was a colorful rainbow with the imaginary pot of gold. The pictures were taken with the ladies sitting on a swing while their dates were standing behind them. Outstanding TEachar Our 1982-1983 Outstanding Teacher, Miss Kerry McMillen, is a 1977 graduate of Reynolds High, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Senior Homecoming Attendant, a cheerleader, and a Raiderette. She also tutored junior and senior high special students and spent approximately three hundred volunteer hours doing this. She was a recipient of the REA scholarship for scholastic achievement and professional interest. Miss McMillen attended Penn State University, the Shenango Valley Campus, her freshman year and received the President’s Freshman Award for academic achievement. She then transferred to Slippery Rock State College and graduated with highest honors. She was recognized at the Slippery Rock Honors Convocation as one of the top ten students in the senior class. Miss McMillen teaches mostly junior high special students and is an advisor to the Raiderettes. The students have chosen her for this honor because of the hard work and effort she puts into her job. 82 THe TEEchErs 83 Two Retire from 5chnal Duties After retirement Mrs. Brown says she will go on some trips, go camping, and probably go to Pymatuning. She says she will enjoy being able to relax and will appreciate not having to rush around all the time. Mrs. Brown graduated from Mercer High School. Then she attended Mercyhurst College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a minor in social studies. Before she came to teach at Reynolds, she worked at Kiser Steel as a secretary in Fontana. California. She also worked in Montgomery Ward’s Credit Department in Meadville. She likes the people she works with very much and says she will miss them, as well as her students. Mrs. Brown is the advisor of the F.B.L.A. Club. Mrs. Price is anxiously awaiting the time when she can “do anything she wants. Looking into the past, we find that she went to high school in Springsdale, Pennsylvania, graduated from Thiel College, and earned her Master’s Degree from Westminster College. She has worked as a chemist and a laboratory technician, in addition to her school assignments. Mrs. Price says she has enjoyed her job as a guidance counselor very much as she enjoys working with students. But she is looking forward to retirement when she can pursue her hobbies, take more courses at Thiel College and visit her family who are scattered over the country from Oregon to New Hampshire. 84 Varsity Fastball UPPER.
