One hand is a girl's and the other is a boy's. The Future Homemakers of America is the national organ- ization of the students studying homemaking in junior and senior high schools of the United States. The FHA is composed of chartered state 'associations which in turn are made up of local chapters in junior and senior high schools offering homemaking. ' The Reynolds chapter is proud of one member who has won distinction in the work of the FHA. JoAnn Nice, president of our chapter, was elected Secretary-Treasurer of Section 10 of Illinois. 5, ' Our Chapter is planning on sending a delegate to ' Camp Green Bay at Bloomington, Illinois for FHA girls, Aug. 12-16. Lois Onken has been chosen as delegate and Marilyn Walker as her alternate. This year the FHA girls ordered T-shirts with the FHA emblem on the front of them. On October 2 the FHA sent a box of gifts to children in Holland. On November 6 a hilarious time of hiking to Waneta Carl- son's home and having a wiener roast and games was enjoyed. This was our Hobo Party and was our first party. Part of the FHA girls, on March 18, served at the FEA Banquet. This was a big event as it was the first time for some of the girls to serve a meal of this nature.
