VARSITY BASEBALL Another league title and another trip to the state playoffs. That was the story for the 1985 boys varsity baseball team. With a new coach the baseball team had an overall record of 20-5. Taking the league title they also took most of the 1st and 2nd All Star votes too. George Armstrong, Greg Mitzel, Mike Cannon, and Jim Rhode were all first team. Jeff Suter and Derron Moreland received 2nd team and Kevin Soto was named Honorable Mention. Also making the all Metro Team were Can- non, Mitzel and Armstrong.
